Power loss when damp out??? HeLP

Being trying to track down this problem for a while now, have been through the harness and every looks good, I have installed new plugs, wires, fuel pump relay, fuel filter , temp sensor and rotor and now I am thinking what else it could be ?

When it is wet out or just damp, I have to pump the accelerator to get any power out of the car, feals like something is cutting in and killing the power, it will reach rpms but no acceleration..

Iam thinking it could be the.. EZL?

OR coil?

Knock sensor?

PS is the green cable from the starter to the EZL the power line for the ignitiong?

Did you check your fuel pump relay? Does it make a noise when you start the car?

Did you check that your fuel pump is working correctly? Have someone turn the key to the ACC position and open the gas cap and listen if the fuel pump is working....

Check your air filter too.

A loose or broken seal could be allowing moisture into the mix. A damp filter will definitely restrict airflow.

Air Filter is good, it is more of an electrical problem I think, it will do it on and off, sometimes it is fine and sometimes it is not. The accelerator is very uresponsive sometimes then one day it will go like hell? Was of checking fuel pressure but every time I want to do it it runs fine ..

There is no knock sensor in your car. But it certainly could be the EZL module, although Iīd rather suspect the coil. And I dontīthink the green cable from the EZL module leads to your starter.. if I remember correctly. It leads to the Ignition pickup sensor. Itīs either located on the rear of the engine, by the left hand side bellhousing, or inside the ignition drive, under the rotor.

Cheers,
