cold from left and hot from right

Hello from Armenia! It is getting cold here.
My 90 W124 E300 blower gives cold air on entier left side of the vehicle's saloon and hot on the right side (on all modes). When the blower in on low mode or when I just switch on the blower (after engine is hot enough) it gives hot air at the beginning, but then it gets cooler and cooler. When I turn off the blower at the end it gives a little hot air.
Any idea , what is wrong there?
Thank you.

is there coolant leaking? could be a heater core. Or a bad HVAC panel

When the blower is off, the hot water valve defaults to the open position under certain conditions. There's quite a complicated sequence of operation for the HVAC system so I don't remember all the "If Thens" but that is normal. As far as the imbalance from side to side, sounds like a damper flap is in need of repair.
