Selling 86 300E five speed parts car
Hi everyone:
I was going to put this in the classifieds section, but it seemed like this was the better place. I have an 86 300E parts car, has not run in several years, odometer broken at 249K miles, in poor shape. But it does have a working 5-speed manual gearbox and all the bit and pieces needed to do a manual transmission conversion on your W124. I bought it not running and got it running long enough to get through all the gears and reverse with no problem. Do a conversion the right way, with the donor car right next to the recipient. This swap is bolt-on with nearly any M103 equipped W124 and even an M104 W124 with some modification. A cool project...just not for me (I'm selling my 95 wagon). I'd like $1000 for the parts car, but will entertain all reasonable offers! The car will need to be towed or flatbedded from Durham, Connecticut.
