vacuum locks

so i decided to use today to figure out whats up with my locks. as far as i can tell, the vacuum pump is working. and from what i can see, in my coupe, the locking diagram goes as so

mspaint ftmfw

anyway, like i said this is the coupe. red is the vacuum line adapters, black is the vacuum lines themselves. for some reason, no matter where i lock from, my trunk will always lock but never unlock(every time i need to get gas i have to go into my trunk to unlock the tank) i attempted to divide the car into 2, front and back to figure out the problem. locking from the right side(and blocking off the back half with my finger) got the left lock to move a bit. unlocking using the same technique did nothing. locking/from the left had no effect on the right. the trunk, didnt seem to affect any locks(other than the gas tank, like everything else) but once again only locked, not unlocked. any ideas?

If your in the mood to take everything down, it might be worth your while to go ahead and change out your lines. Find out what sizes that everything is supposed to be and buy in bulk.

Good luck

i was looking into that, its like $3 for the connectors, and 10 cents per cm of tubing(something like that, i cant remember) according to performanceparts. the locks are a bit more expensive, closer to $50. still might be worth it though. id still like to isolate the problem.
