WTF this is messed up
here is a photo + 2 of mine on my car notice some thing is broken

well theres nothing i can do to fix it. i found it is broken a chunk has been smashed right off it. i can see tool marking on it. it seems i was right. this autobahn west shop has done all the work on my car and i am finding more and more of there work is S&%T. i think there are one of those shops that brake parts and scam people out of money. this pisses me off. how can these people get away with this work braking stuff on car that could cause injury to the driver or others around it i am not going to stand for this i have all the records of there work done to my car. i will be checking it with photos i will be taking of the parts replaced such as brake pads the leaking trany all of it they are going down. i will not stand for this
If you think the shop is crap and ripping people off, I feel it's your duty to report them. Bad shops need to die.
Sorry you are having so many problems. My first benz was a 260E. Right around 170,000 I had the tranny go out, but the repair was not overwhelmingly expensive. Then it started to mysteriously lose power from time to time.
Next I had an ML320. Good car for the most part but kept tossing O2 CEL's around the 70,000 mark. Got it fixed, then it had that really expensive ASR/ESP ABS pump problem. Traded it in at the MBZ dealer. My next W124 had the same mystery power loss problem that started to appear just before the 200,000 mile mark. Next was the 500E which was flawless until the reverse gaveup at 132,000 mile ($900 to fix that - all new trans seals and 1st/reverse clutch pack).
They can be tricky beasts, that's for sure. Good luck with school.
