No offense intended for anyone, but the first thought I always have when I see a custom plate is that the driver must be really cocky.
That is unless the license plate is something funny or is some kind of riddle. Those ones are okay. But having your name on your plate or something else that involves praising yourself comes across as a bit arrogant to me.

I semi-agree. I think that a lot also, but I know a few people with them as their nicknames or something and theyre decent people. Another got her car as a gift that says XXX's BUG. Another has their plate as the city they grew up in the Philippines. Another has a pool service and his is IGTUWET, which I find hilarious with my adolescent sense of humor.

I dont like all of em, but i ordered one, its gonna say "WHTNUKL"- white knuckle. Its from Fuel by Metallica. (I have a white E55). I also ordered another one before this one, "EABUSER", until i realized how much heat id get from cops for doing drugs. Many cops in the LA area dont really have a good sense of humor... they're mostly bast*rds
And EXPRE55 on an e55 FTW!
sidenote: Every time i see one of your posts I picture DL Hughley sitting in front of his monitor at home...haha.
Fakkers!!! What I MEAN is chicks that can't tell a sunfire from a ferrari would always know where I was....people that REALLY know me and my car that are dudes, I could care less...

I was impressed ...
There was a special plate on our old W123 280TE when I bought the car in 1987. When the car was scrapped 200K miles later, I sold the number alone for £3000. Good business.
Other than that, they leave me cold.
Although I did spot an interesting one in Finland: 300 CE 24 - no prizes for guessing the vehicle it was on!
Theoretically, that number should be on the books in the Dordogne (Departement 24), France. I wonder if I could get it for my wheels?
