W124 K-Jetronic problems
Greetings, can anyone please assist me in regards to the above. I have an 1987 230e w124 (the first of the w124 shape) The k-jetronic is mechanical/Electrical as you may know. I need to know the wiring for it which wires are for what and what does it do how does it affect things and how can I adjust stuff. I have read about it SO i know the theory of how it works but now i need more specifics related to my particulr model of K-jet. I know about the enrichment adjuster on the top. BUt I believe there is an air screw also for adjustment and there.

It changes all the time
About the only adjustment you can do on that system is the screw you mentioned. You should have an idle air valve that manages idle speed. What are you trying to accomplish? Are you having problems?

Its a bit heavy on gas. what happens when the engine is cold it runs all fine the minute it gets past 80degree the idle will shoot up to about 1700rpm if you drop the idle a bit then you have problems on a cold start I just feel maybe the wiring is off as someone did work on the car and I dont think the connected it all back properly. if sumone can explain what each part that that has some electrical components to it does maybe I can figure out something
