![Question](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
As pictured, the connector at the front right of the engine is frayed which I believe is causing my car not to start. Sometimes when I wiggle it, the engine will start. It's sheathed so it's not an easy solder fix. I can't find just the connector wiring so I probably need to replace the whole engine harness which will be costly. I can't find one for this year as most sources just sell the faulty later 93-95 harnesses. Any suggestions?

the insulation is pretty hard but it only broke in two places. I suspect the previous owner or mechanic broke it while working on the engine. The other sensor wire inside the front cap is ok but also has hardened insulation. The sad thing is the rest of the harness looks ok...
