I just recently bought my first Benz and it came with a couple of probs. One is the trans... It was rebuilt in 2002 and 6 years later it is having the same problem...not shifting to high gear. It is now in the shop for tests and I am worried that I might get soaked with expensive repair bills. Has anyone ever had this problem if so, I could use your wisdom in this matter. The woman I bought this car from told me that it needed repair not replacement, something like a vacuum control mod. Does this sound right? HELP!!!!
