Headlight adjust. 95 E320

Morn'in from windblown Atlanta. Is the bubble in the glass level at the base of each headlight supposed to be in the middle? Are there any other adjustments(side-side) I can make for proper alignment? Thanks for your reply.

yea dead centre is where you want it, but it's there for you to adjust it to your own reflection. And go easy on the adjuster screws they tend to brake very easy, I broke all of mine...

I had to adjust mine after rear-ending a car on ice. The body shop apparently had no clue how to do it after they replaced the front end. It's very easy. You just center the bubble then line up the pointer. The car has to be level for this to work.

The passenger side cover removal is tricky. Also the passenger front turn signal bulb. Like much of this car, it was assembled by midget German bodybuilders.

Thanks guys. shdoug-"Line up the pointer"? You lost me there- where is it and what are you supposed to line it up with? Amen on the pass. side turn signal- I gave up on trying to disconnect the plug and just took the whole assembly out(which was probably the easiest way to begin with). Thanks again.

Thanks, glad it worked for you. I can't imagine what the guys at the body shop were thinking. They had me lighting up the treetops!
