How difficult is NSS installation?

How difficult is NSS installation?
NSS being the Neutral Safety Switch (for a 95 E320). Sorry if this issue has been beaten to death, I attempted to search for answers, but found nothing conclusive.

Can this be easily DIYed? If not, how much would a mechanic charge me to install it? I already have the part. I appreciate any input, thanks in advance.
