Passenger weight straining car?

Here is an odd question for you experts out there. What is the maximum load for the front and back seats on each side for a 300E 1989? I ask because I have had shock and suspension issues on my car and it seems it may be the front right side giving me trouble in particular, that happens to be the spot where I sometimes have 350 lbs people riding along. I know the Germans can be big, but somehow I doubt they planned on that kind of strain on the car, would the back seat hold up better for my large friends?

lots of cars
350lbs each? stock springs? I wouldn't put 350lbs in the back because the shocks wouldn't be able to handle them on stock springs since they are pretty soft.

in the drivers door there should be a sticker telling you the maximum permissible weight of occupants. 800lbs or thereabouts i believe. its not much, i know that.

Maximum weight - never thought of that!

We used to load up our old W123 series 280TE with 7 people, two fully laden roof-boxes and bicycles hanging off the back.

No idea what it all weighed but we did 1000s of miles like that. I always thought, "Well, it's a Merc, it'll be OK."

And it was. Regular, 120 mph bursts and night-time dashes through the country.

I imagine a W124 series would be as good or better, assuming all the rubbery comfort stuff underneath is in good condition.

my door says 930lbs, of course they didn't specify if 350 of that can be in one spot, i suspect that might be a strain. I just installed Blistein comfort shocks on the front, but the back are some KYB junk I think.
