Rear Deck Sub

Okay guys. So I posted a thread a month or two back about doing a summer project. I think we all agree that trunk space in a 300E is VERY limitied. I have already taken out my 15" sub and am now planning on installing a 10" in my rear deck. However, being the noob that I am I need some help. I know I need to remove my headrest and the carpet? cover off the rear deck. But I know how to do neither of these two things. I'm starting on this project VERY shortly and ANY and ALL input would be amazing!! Thanks!

On this link there's a picture of what I want to do. Pretty much duplicate the whole sub/box setup.

his setup:

directions to remove the deck:

i've done this before using his directions, so if you run into trouble post back here and we can guide you...

That post is actually exactly what I was looking for. Hopefully I'll post back in about a week with the results, lol, or lack thereof. Thanks!

Just for the record, I consider my trunk space to be rather large compared to most. I'm sure most of the guys on here would back me up on this. Mounting the sub on the rear deck is mainly to achieve optimal sound quality if I remember correctly. Infinite baffle setup?
