......and Monoblocks for all.....

Just closed the deal on my 3rd set of Monoblock IIs...I guess I can't get enough of that chunky look lol....

The kombi has the stock 17" monoblocks from my CLK55, and I'm running 18" monoblocks on the CLK. The "new" set - which is used - will be another staggered set in 17" for tracking the CLK...I've been chewing up the 18" street tires a bit too much....now I'll have some dedicated track wheels/tires.

They should be at the door next week....they even have used Michelins on them...perfect for the next track outing!

Snag a set if you see the right deal. The set I just bought is intended for track use, so I didn't mind some cosmetic issues like curb rash...but didn't want any of the wheels bent.

Condition is everything in terms of the value. Several used sets have been sold recent on here in the $400 to $500 range - wheels only, no tires. As a gauge, one member is selling one OE wheel (7.5 X 17 - front wheel) for $450 for one wheel, but it is BRAND NEW in the box.

I bought my set on ePray, but got lucky in the bidding process and ended up with a winning bid of only $256 for all 4 with used Michelin Pilot Sports on them.

I couldn't buy replicas for that price.

I love Monoblock II's! They complete the look of the W124 the best...at least for me. I'm looking to get them here soon!

Can never go wrong with mono IIs. They can go for a very nice price on eBay sometimes...especially if they're the 17s
