new wheels...hopefully.

hey guys I was just wondering what you guys thing about these wheels I still haven't gotten them yet, because I am not exactly sure on how much the guy wants for them and if they will fit my car. How much do you all think these go for??? All I know is that they are 18's not sure on the exact size. I am not sure if I will need spacers or something because they might not fit properly. I will appreciate any opinions you guys have.
on to the pics.

Enzo, my Benzo
Read what the back of the wheels say...all 4 of them....should say something like 18Jx8.5 ET 35 or something...that will help us tell you if they will fit.

To make these wheels fit you will need to roll the fender lips and use 5mm hubcentric spacers on the front. On rear I would mount the wheel and see how much space you have between the wheel and the shock and maybe another 5mm spacer. You will also have to roll the fender lips on the rear to use a 245/35 tire. You should be able to fit these wheels so make an offer and buy them.

thank you...what web site can I buy the spacers from??? and what do you think is a decent offer? he's giving me the spare with a brand new tire and two other good tires with about 70% tread left in them I think they would last me for the summer.

Do they have curb rash? I would check ebay and give him an offer based on that price. Make sure the spacers you get have the hub ring because our cars take most of the load on the hub not the lugs.

BTW if you don't want them i'll be happy to take them off your hands..

thanks guys I also thought he was going to want an arm and a leg for them, but I figured they are $3500 dollar rims why the heck not and make my 124 look a tad bit better. I will be getting two more tires this weekend and see if I can order the spacers then see if I can get the fenders pulled or rolled not sure what the difference is??? ,but thanks for the replies I will be posting pics of the progress.
Edit: will my lug bolts work if I buy 5mm spacers or should I buy new ones??? thanks.

If you buy new ones make sure they do not stick through too much in the rears or you'll screw up your emergency brake and cause other damage.

Well, I've put 18x9 in the back before but with a 38mm offset. On your wheels a 5mm spacer will bring it down to 39mm and you'll have about half inch less on the inside and half an inch more on the outside. You could just bend the fender lip or pull out the fender. If you wanna go crazy you could cut the inner fender and pull out about 1" more from the outside fender and weld in a metal filler. You can run a 245/35/18 tire on the rear and a 215/40/18 on the front.

Im not trying to go all crazy with it. I think I might just see what I can do with the fenders so they can fit (pull/roll or something)... then what size spacers should I get?? I saw from 3mm all the way to 12mm online. I am a noob at all this so any help you can offer will be greatly appreciated
thanks.

Get 5mm spacers and see how that goes. You should be able to find a cheap set on ebay. I'm getting some AMG wheels and some S class wheels and i'll see what spacers I need. If you want to BBS 3pc wheels I may be able to get a used set. I have 2 sets of 3pc wheels but they don't fit my benz.

yeah 5mm is what I was thinking of getting, but I don't know if I need longer lug bolts and if I should get all four or just the front. I have to see first. I have yet to test fit the rears. yeah BBS are very nice, but if I start looking for them it will be perhaps the end of this year or beginning of next I like the LM's or RS GT. not sure how difficult it is to find these. thanks for the help.

Yeah, now with dollar parity it is not so bad, but this was around 3 years ago when the exchange was brutal, forgot about that.

Yeah, my car, thanks.

Exchange rate is even, give or take a tiny fraction of a cent.

I just got some wheels with a 44 offset and im getting the 5mm spacers tomorrow. I can comfirm that 18x8.5 44 offset doesn't fit the front without spacers because they hit the strut but the rears are fine.
