'90 300E Blk/Tan

Curious....

What is the deal with the "setting" knob on the top of the ECU (the one with positions of 0 or 1), and where should it be set?

Not touching it - just checking on what the deal with that knob is.. ('90 300E 3.0L )

That thing locks the ECU into the frame

Defiantely have it on 1 (locked)

I believe that's your MAS Control unit, and yes. All that knob does is hold it there. It's not an electronic knob.

No problem mang. While you are in there, maybe clean out the contacts with contact cleaner. Thats what we did :P
