Spacer Question
Hi Guys, (and Gals)
I upgraded from 15" to 16 " a couple of weeks ago, ride seems to be the same although it feels a little bit "floaty". There is also a slight rubbing noise when driving on dip, i.e. potholes. Further checking reveals that my front tires are rubbing against the shock absorbers, based upon tire side marks. Now, I'm no expert on these things, but do I have to install 5mm spacers to all tires? My current wheel specs: 16"...7.5" wide..ET 41...215/55/16, from a W210. My friend suggested replacing the tires to 205/55/16..Old tires/wheels specs: 15"...6.5" wide..ET 48...205/60/15... Any thoughts??
Thanks,
FGG
