trans leak when parked for days

Ok, heres the deal I have a bad trans leak but, it only happens when parked for a while. I found some cracks in the kick down solenoid. Which looks like the leak area. So I guess thats the problem, but does the solenoid hold fluid? Does is it hold pressure, so when my car sits the pressure leaks out the cracks?
Anyways i bought a new one and its in the mail. here are some pictures

still waiting on the new part but I did notice that the plastic which i guess holds the copper wire coil is separate. No fluid goes in it, but the inside bolt hold fluid and has a thin little o ring. So the cracked plastic is nothing its just the casing for the copper wire. Its most likely the little o ring that seals the case to the plunger part of the solenoid. So I could have bought an o-ring for a few bucks but i jumped the gun and spent 60 on a new solenoid.

Let us know how it goes, I have the same problem. Tranny leaks bad when I leave her sitting; I sprung for the whole tranny gasket kit but haven't had a chance to take it to Enrique yet.

Ok, I replaced the kickdown solenoid, but the main part to replace is the last o-ring. It's really thin and impossible to find one thats fits.I recommend buying an OEM. It fixed my leak. Sorry was in a hurry didn't take and pictures.
