Bought my second 300e - encountering electrical issues (radio, lights)
I bought a black on black 1993 300e. I used to own a 91 300e so im moderately familiar with the car.
The car came with a ridiculously hideous aftermarket tape deck for long long ago. I removed it, but the guy seems to have rewired everything himself. He did a terrible job.
So on to the series of events that lead to problems.
- I removed the tape deck (which was actually mounted 2" out from being flush with the opening due to mashed excess wiring in the back)
- Notice that only front and back speakers are functional, and door speakers are not wired.
- Can't seem to find any automatic antenna control.
- Where can i find some kind of wiring diagram, or wire color coder?
- When trying to remove the tangled mess from behind the stereo, it appears I disabled the dash lights! It could be a blown fuse, im not sure. But is there a wire that would contribute to dash lights?
Other Issues-
- Coolant temp sensor isnt reading. Sits a 0
