starting problem w124 e320 1994

hi there;
I'm having a strange problem with my 94 w124 e320. the car won't start when it's cold. there is no pulse from the fuel pump. when the weather is warm, there is pulse from the fuel pump and the car would start right away. before i got to this conclusion, i went ahead and changed a fuel pump relay, crank sensor, tested the fuel pump by direct wiring from the battery.. took the car to the dealer, the dealer diagnosis was that the car is having a problem with the ignition component, went ahead and changed that part, yet again when it's cold I'm having the same problem.
any suggestions?

regards

Mark

The neutral safety switch can produce intermittent starting problems. It isn’t related to hot and cold, but the intermittent nature of the problem might lead you to believe in some king of correlation. It is a relatively inexpensive thing to repair and it is a common problem. When mine wouldn’t start, I sometimes had success by shifting and jiggling the shift lever to get it to start.

So, you're saying that when you turn the ignition to the "run" position with a cold engine that the fuel pump doesn't run briefly but it does when the engine is warm? Are there any codes stored?
