Going for this kind of look
I really like the wheels AndreNY just got. (OZ Futura 3-piece) I'm going to be lowering soon, and getting new wheels for sure. I want this kind of look...with the deep dish and multiple pieces

But the wheels are too expensive for the current wage i'm bringing in. So are there any wheels like this out there on the market thats cheap and would fit a w124?

your best bet to the OZ futura are Keskin KT1's which are made in 17" for our Mercedes they are 17X8.5 or 17X10 but the 10's will require rear panel modifications and some stretched tires. also the Keskins are not as good in quality as OZ's and instead of being 3-piece like the Futura's they are only 1-piece wheels

Maybe I'd just go with 8.5 all around and roll the fenders?

yeah, IMO thin-spoke rims don't look good in 124's.
Re: the other rims above, I'm not sure you will get the deep dish look you're going for with an 8.5" rim.
