Nice look but it's a china reflector and I bet money it would be worse than euros.

if you mean putting a projector in there, it will work, that's what I did.
If you're talking about a HID bulb with the metal shroud, I'm not sure... like zorro said, it might be bad if the reflector is terrible, but i think it would still be okay. The shroud should eliminate all light hitting the bottom half of the bowl. any funny angles in the bowl might throw some light upwards, but it will still be a LOT better than throwing a HID bulb into a lens with fluted glass...
