Spring PAD

This might be a stupid question. But I'm just wondering. If I take off my spring pad. Would that be a pad idea. Or would it be ok to drive. No suspension noise?

Just my 2 cents...don't remove them, they serve a definite purpose.

Throw on the 8mm #1s and put on some quality lowering springs with sport shocks and enjoy.
