220CE - white stuff on rear window edge !
Hi Everyone
This is my 1st post since joining today. I have recently bought a black 220CE coupe here in rainy Great Britain. It's about 10 years old with 150k miles clocked but in good condition.
One query though, on the rear window edges (inside the car) are some white patches appearing. I thought it could be condensation with all our damp & wet weather but trying to get rid of it with a hairdryer didn't work. Could it be glue or something coming out of the seals ?
Any ideas what this could be ? Do any of you have this ?
Thanks for any advice.
Regards
William Flint

Hi Jimmy
Thanks for that.
That picture is exactly what I have.
I'll have another look this weekend. If I solve it, i'll let you know.

My guess is that the glass is detaching from the frame. Cant do much about it other then take aout the window and reglue it.
