Drivers Seat in 300CE Coupe
I'm having a few little issues with the drivers seat, it seems to be leaning to the right more than it should. It looks fine until you sit in it then it sorta leans to the right a bit and is not a comfortable driving position.
It's an 89' model so i understand it's taken a few years of asses in it.
Does anyone know if this can be ajusted or something or am I up for a new seat alltogether.
Thanks for any feedback.

my seat does the same thing in my 1990 300ce (leans to the right).
My back starts to hurt after driving for more than 30 minutes or so. I talked to my mechanic about it and he said it's a matter of tinkering with the gearing/mechanism. Do some searching on the mercedesshop.com forums. You'll find some info on it.
I haven't gotten around to having this fixed yet. Good luck.

Ok, After a few hours of blood rushing to my head looking under the seat , I found the left side of the seat had broken off the base, causing it to lift about an inch on the left side. It requires a weld job, but was able to put it back in place, so the driving position is now normal again. Hope this helps you too.

wow I'm surprised that happened!
I'm afraid I have too many projects going on and too many other things to address with my car to spend much time on this right now. But I'm glad you got it fixed.
