need help no fuel to engine
I bought a 1990 300E and can not seem to get the car started. The car sat for 3 years in storage and was told just the alt was bad. Alternator was repaired though. I drained the fuel tank and all lines off old fuel.
I know the pump is working because I hear it when the key is turned.
I have changed the fuel filter that is inline.
I cracked the fuel lines open on the engine side of the "injector pump" and they are dry. Neither the supply or return line have fuel in them.
Where else can I go from here? Could the pump be running, but not pumping fuel up to the injectors?
