back up lamps

both my reverse lights went out no 0 volts going to the lights on both sides all fuses r good in box where do i go from here recently had transmission rebuilt

check your neutral safety switch, its on transmission.

anything else it could be they told me they replaced the switch is there anyway to test it

check the connector that goes to the neutral safety switch, make sure it goes all the way in. You can test by putting you transmission shifter between P and R, or between R and N, see if the light is on.

By the way these reverse light are important. when my reverse light does not work, I almost got hit on parking structure by the other driver because he did not know that i was backing up

believe me i would be liein if i said it never happened i have atleast a close call twice a week its a real pain in the *** but the real problem im getting it inspected so its gotta work
