W124 Convertible speaker replacement
Any recommendation on replacement speakers for both the front and rear pairs?
With minimal or no modification on the mounting. The Rainbow IQ speakers seems fit the front but the rear one is not designed for convertible.
Any recommendation on brands model can fit to the rear easily?
Thx
Alex

MBWorld Fanatic!
I've done a few stereos in W124s, and while I have not completed the installation yet, I love the jehnert door panels (which include speakers) for around $1100 for the Cabriolet. (I currently have panels for my Sportline, not the Cab)
Here is a recent flurry on the topic which helped me...
but you can do a search on these forums and find endless opinions.

RHW, Thx for your reply and the information is very useful.
Do you know how to remove the grille of the rear speakers in your Cab?
Thx
Alex
