Q: How to remove crank bolt

Hello all. Im currently in the process of doing a valve job, and my cylinder head is currently in the shop. I now want to replace the tensioner, chain, and rails. To do this, I need to remove the crank pulley and harmonic balancer. My impact wrench cannot fit between the bolt and the A/C condenser. Any thoughts on how to remove the bolt? Any suggestions and advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

If your wrench does not fit between the bolt and the radiator, and YES it's the radiator of the coolant which in your way you need to take the radiator out in order to get there, which is also a nice circumstance to change coolant. The condensor of the AC sits before that (sees cool air first before the radiator does).

My impact wrench still cannot fit between the bolt and the condenser. There's just isnt enough room in there for my wrench.

Sounds bad - but it worked for me.
I rebuilt my 380 and had the same problem. I talked to my mechanic and he said that sometimes they would attach a breaker bar to the bolt and then use the starter to loosen it. I used some 2x4s to keep the breaker bar from moving around and damaging anything, and bumped the starter - the bolt came loose right away! Scary but it worked.

Thanks, the bolt came off right away. Now the magic question,
how would you re-torque upon installation? Anyone know the torque setting on this?
