17inch wheels on W124 some advice needed

I'm about to order some new wheels and need some ideas of offsets and tyre profiles im thinkin 8inch fronts ET35- 9inch rears ET43 with 225/50/17 and 235/50/17's
I've got 18's at the mo and want abit more tyre to absorb bumps.

Any guesses as to what size's offsets and tyre profile these are

how the car looks at the mo needs thinner blocks on the back to get it lower- does anyone have any part numbers for these?
