HELP: ALL warning lights are on in the dashboard (MB 300CE-24)

Hello,

Hope you can help me.

After ending approx. 25 kilometers of driving in heavy rain suddenly ALL the warning lights the dashboard come on. This is while parking. If I set the gearbox in "parking" and rev the engine a bit some og the lights go off and some only light up like 50%...!?!? After 10 seconds or so all the lights come on again...!?!? Whats going on?

I checked all the fluids and they are OK.

The car is a 300CE-24 Sportline with approx 300.000 kilometers on the clock.

ANYONE...?

/Martin

Probably just a blown fuse.

Check carefully because if you still have the OEM fuses, they may look intact when they really arent.

i'm just saying altenator cause i went though this about 2 months ago, all my warning lights came on, even turned my drl's off cause the car went into limp mode due to the battery not being charged. and same thing, all the warning lights were at different brightness. funny thing is this happened after i drove on the highway during a mad rain storm.. hope you figure out your problem.

Yeah the same thing happened to me when my belt snapped and wasnt running the alternator. It actually happened to be in a rainstorm too, well, the california version of a rainstorm.

I shouldnt have said "Probably", as it is likely an alternator issue judging by the flickering lights. It's just easier to check a fuse first to rule it out. One had blown out on me before and all my lights illuminated also.

Good luck man, let us know if you have any other symptoms or if/how you fix it.
