93 300ce 3.2 stalling upon startup and eratic idle in park?
Hey everyone, I just bought my 1st Benz. I always likes the coupes and I've wanted a CE model since I was 12. I got a bargain too! Anyway, she has already had a harness put in, as well as head gasket, radiator and thermostat.
The issue is that in park the car idles between 5 and 2500 rpm. In the morning the car hesitates from a stop, idles rough and sometimes stalls a couple times.
As a former Honda enthusiast, these issues are either a crank sensor, tps sensor or an ignition issue.
Please help, and btw I'm in Chicago and would like to attend a meet.

OP, have you done simple things like the wires, plugs and OVP relay as aforementioned? Also consider the ignition coils, fuel pump, fuel filter.
Sometimes when you replace the wiring harness, the same awful wiring is on the throttle body and you have to replace the throttle body/actuator on top of the wiring harness.
It also can be an ECU issue. And there's also an idle control valve. Is your CEL on, and have you gotten any codes?
