2000 e430( w210),1979 240D (w123), 1992 300e(w124), 1990 mitsubishi galant VR4
shift to neutral to start engine

hello
my 1992 300e, having a hard time to start, i have to shift the gear to neutral to start the engine, but once a while it start when it on park

what can be possibly wrong

1990 300ce supercharged and intercooled
the neutral safety switch needs repl.

Had same problem, had neutral safety switch replaced....
