check engine light came on and my temperature rises from normal but. im thinking..thermo stat. anyone know how to check and pull out thermo stat? also...it seems that my 2 auxilary fan on my radiator is not running. anyone know how to check and fix this?

Check engine typically is an indication of a failure of some component in the emissions system.

What year and engine do you have ?

Possibly an O2 sensor.
