Mark, the thing about America is that there isn't really a "typical" American. Our country is very diverse, with people who have different values, ethnicities, and preferences.

There are definitely stories of idiots with their guns, bigots, morons who think global warming is a lie made up by the liberals, etc.

But there are also tons of Americans who have the exact oppositive viewpoints. You don't hear about them because nobody writes news columns about people acting sensibly.

So let's be fair here. If you want to attack or defend yourself against somebody, don't attack my entire country by applying a stereotype that doesn't even reflect the majority of America.

Dude, that was not my intention AT ALL

I should have said "stereotypical gun wielding american" and I apologize if you misinterpreted my mis-type.

I respect all ethnicities and countries, my brother in law is an american and I love that dude!

Plus STL just had me wound up for a bit before we settled it...I didn't proofread, obviously!

Nuttin but love for you Canada Sr.!!

No worries!

I work with a lot of people from Europe who all have this idea of Americans, like we're all fat, lazy, selfish, materialistic, racist, from Texas (that's a joke).

It makes me wonder what they read or watch that gives them that idea of us. I feel like it's my duty to defend us against such misconceptions.

Stereotypes exist for a reason.....that being said, there are good and bad people from every country.

You should take that $300 and get rid of the two-tone paint instead.

I already have the paint, just nowhere to do it. I planned on doing it this fall but it's getting too cold here in St. Louis now. So I guess that's gonna be a spring project..

with that sort of attitude you are the **last** person who should be carrying a gun. whether or you have a CCW permit or not. and whether or not your state is a right to carry state or not.

it'd be really really funny if the person who followed you got out of thier car yelling at you, but simply wanted to know where you got the train horns, and you got out with your desert eagle and shot them.[/sarcasm]

morons like you are the reason why there are so many gun control nuts out there. i am one of them, and im a (prospective) gun owner. (cz75, not flashy or famous like others, but accurate and reliable, which is all i want.)
