LOUD high pitch noise.. HELP !!!

LOUD high pitch noise.. HELP !!!

1992 300e, a loud siren noise comes from the back, drivers side, i check the trunk, the sound is coming beside where the power antena is located, I disconnected the plug attach on it, to stop the sound..... is it related to the neutral switch?
because is need to start the the car on neutral to make the engine run

The same thing happened to me. It turned out to be my antenna motor. I still haven't gotten around to replacing it.

nope its not the antenna motor, its the sunroof mechanism.. does any one know how to fix this ? any DYI ?

Here's a DIY on a w123 http://www.mercedesshop.com/Wikka/W123SunRoofRepair - I'm not sure if they are the same but I'm sure they're similar. Hope it help.

Oh wait, you're right. My apologies. I simply took the fuse out and used that as a temporary fix. I still have to push my sun-roof up manually while pressing the button to get it to go up though..
