I thought about that too, but I was in a friends car who had that and a lot of the LED's had crapped out on him. The kits they have are kinda cheaply made and I think the tone of the light really makes the car look ricey and cheap inside. Just my $0.02

1988 300CE Coupe
These are nice, I put the AMG Logo ones in my car --- Lights it up a good bit at night. Nice Blue hue. But they are triple 50 budget. http://www.formymercedes.com/mb_resu...or+Sill+Covers

Hacha, those are costly. I'd love the Mercedes ones for my coupe but in red ![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Oooo, also, I did my interior lights (except switches/gauges) red and lemme tell you, best thing for night driving. Totally recommend.

Yeah, front/rear dome light. I will be doing the mirror lights and then the front reading light (the tiny square that is bright on the right side of the front dome light housing). Switches I thought about, but then it'd look like a VW or an Audi and I am not having that.
Front/Rear Dome= 41/42mm Festoon
Under door Courtesey= 36mm Festoon
Map Light= ?
Mirror Lights= ?

Would these work for the courtesy door lights? (the ones on the bottom of the doors right?)

These would fit the front and rear dome lights right?

Yeap, both are correct sizes. The 36mm are also the ones for the license plate lights but they'd be illegal (atleast in NJ they are). Pep Boys sells the 36/41mm festoons in white/red/blue but I'm not sure if its just a local thing or yours will have them too. I'll let you know once I find out the bulb for the map light and the flip down mirrors are. I'm keeping trunk/glovebox white so its easy to find things. Just a thought :P

Thanks for the info. As for Pep Boys, I don't have any local locations around here up north in STL. I want to replace all the door lights, dome lights, and possibly the trunk with either a bright blue, or either just a nice clean white LED. I don't have a glove compartment so that's outta the question of visibility...lol
I just got my amp on friday, so tonight I hope to finish wrapping the box and finalizing the trunk prior to install. There's a LED that glows blue on the top of my amp, so I maybe thought the blue light would compliment it

Sure, go for what matches
I'm just worried that if I need to get into my spare tire well where all my tools and stuff are the red bulb won't cast enough light. If it matches your amp and the theme you have going on, why not do it? I may be swayed to replacing those two eventually, it depends :P
Still looking for those bulb types :C

I've been thinking, and that gave me a good idea. I think I'm going to go with the white LEDs in the inside, and have the puddle lights and trunk light be blue. I still need that visibility at night when looking for something inside the car, and I think white would give it a nice, clean look.

hey can you guys post some pics about what your talking about. Im having a hard time imagining it. And Berti, can you explain what you did with the circuit board again because the way im thinking about it, you would crush the leds if you leaned on the trim area. Thanks.

the LED's are way to small to even touch'''' but i did think of that for sure so yah i have plenty of room behind the trim i'll have some pics soon just to busy with the last days of school
