Question auto to manual conversion

I am converting my 1992 300TD (non turbo) automatic transmission to manual. I am having difficulty finding out the 5 speed manual gearbox 5th gear ratio and diff ratio associated with the manual transmission. Does anyone know the correct ratios please. I believe the ratios to be :

Automatic Gearbox 4th gear-> 1:1, associated diff -> 3.07:1

Manual Gearbox 5th gear -> 0.799:1, associated diff -> 3.67:1

Can anyone confirm this as being correct please?

Also any ideas where to get a 3.67 diff in the UK?

How can you even think about it?

Feels like a disgrace to such a fine car, manual gearboxes belongs in sporty versions and not a merc like this.

What will you gain of this? The cccleration improvement will be minimal.

I think this is the better way to go. BMW is still cool, just not like a Benz.
