Help! Heat in coupe is always on!!
My 124 from 1988 diesel 250, gives me no possibilities to turn off the coupe heating once turned on. This started 1 month ago. When i start the car and the adjusting wheels (picture 1) http://bildr.no/thumb/298455.jpeg[/img]
is in off postition, the heater gives no heat. If i set the wheels to 24 degrees or whatever (celsius, i am in Portugal), it gives full heat which is not possible to turn off. If i stop the motor and starts it again with the temperaturewheels on zero, it gives no heat...good...but turn the wheels, and full heat again??
I have cleaned and inspected the pump in picture 2:

and the valves in picture 3:

SOLVED!
Found out myself. Circulationpump was stuck. Took it out and cleaned and put som oil in the holes in the pumphouse.
conclution: if circulationpump is stuck, the heater inside the car goes bananas.
