AMG 3 Peice Forged Wheels
I picked up this set of wheels today, but can not tell what the offset is. They look to be 8 1/2" in the front and 10" in the back. On the back side they have TYP 001-12 AMG Germany Forged OZ Racing JWL RX. Each wheel has all the same numbers and info. The fronts are 5 1/2" and the backs 6" from the center of the back side to the edge of the rim.
I think that they are both around +18 ET ?????
So I'm not sure that these will work with my 95 E320 Cab unless I change the back part of the 3 peice wheel to a smaller size.
Looks like I will have to do some more checking around to see what I can make work.
I read that one shop grinds the back side to change the off set ???
Any input will help ..... THANKS

1. mount and check clearance of the rim edge to the strut. If that doesn't fit, you can add spacers.
2. check clearance turn to turn on the fronts.
3. check clearance within the fender. If it's close you can roll the fender lip. If it protrudes beyond the fender lip you will need flares.
The best option is to get the correct width and offset by changing the rim halves. Contact these guys for advice, they sell all parts, inners, outers, seals, bolts:

My 16" OZ AMG's were $500 ea when new. $500 for a set of 18's is a steal.

These are 500e/500SL offsets and width's, not going to fit a standard body W124, regardless of rolling the lips or not. The lower the offset, the further out towards the fender they go, the higher the offset the further inset the wheels go. Proper offset for your car is anywhere from +34 to +38. Optimum width is 7.5", you can do a 8" but you will need to roll your fender lips. A 8.5" diamater wheel will require even more work which will include hammering of the inner fender wells for proper full turns without rubbing.

Well it looks like these wheels are a bit to much for my car....
The goods news is they are great wheels with no cracks......
Maybe I can trade them for a set that will fit my car ???
Anyone want to trade ?

These are a bit agressive for a E55, which uses more of a +31-34mm offset, can't comment on whether or not the original owner had fitament isues or not, but the E55 can handle much wider wheels then a e320 can.
