Exclamation Audio Problems...!

The car is a 94 e320. I have one 12" Audiobahn AW1206t (1100 rms) and a 2 channel Power Acoustik 1800 watt amp. I have it bridged because that's how the audio shop told me to hook it up....but anyways..

The power wire came out of the amp when the sub box slid into it in the trunk, and so I hooked it back up and everything seemed fine. Then when I got to work, I checked the trunk to make sure everything was okay, and when I moved the amp, the remote wire came out! And ever since then, every time I turn the car on or off, it hits one or two times. But the weirdest part is now when I'm driving with the volume all the way down, the sub continues to produce bass, and not even in the rhythm of the song. Also, my amp is running hotter than normal...SO what's going on here!?

you've probably buggered something in the amp with the wires coming off like that.
check your fuses, otherwise i think best buy can test the amp for you (did mine for free, but that was a few years ago). also check your gains and switches on the amp, you might have moved something when you put the wires back in

Thanks for the replies. I think if I can't figure it out in the driveway I'll take it somewhere and have someone take a look. Also, I was just out there and when I turn my stereo on, the sub flexes in and out really far....

Also, turned the gain all the way down, along with all the other adjustable knobs on the amp...and it's still doing it.

I checked all the fuses on the amp and the one on the power wire, and they're good. Pushed the sub-woofer face in to check to see if it was blown, and it's not. The amp doesn't have any warning lights on that it shouldn't otherwise..so I still don't know
