W124 Eibach springs

Guys I need some quick help please. Will Eibach lowering sprins that came from a W124 convertible yr.1994 fit my 1991 sedan? If not as a set, will the front or rear springs fit? Please help me out quickly. I have to decide if I am buying them within the hour

convertibles are heavier so the springs will be a higher ride height I believe. get ones specific to your sedan.

also, your car is a diesel. I don't know about europe, but we never got diesel convertibles in the US. My understanding is that the diesel engine is much heavier than the gasser, so your ride height may not be right in the front.

I could be wrong about this, but if you need quick help then my advice is not to buy the springs until you can get more info.

It's ok guys. The offer ended. I did not buy the springs. I am now looking at some weitec springs especially made for my car with a diesel engine too

The front springs will be the same. The difference will be in the rear.

Don't assume anything with springs, especially that they "will be the same".

All this with due respect ...

Springs depend on many factors that contribute to weight, such as (but not limited to):

Aircon?
Engine size/type
Opening roof
Even whether it has a radio.

Mercedes can advise, as can Bilstein, H&R and Eibach.

My message is, "Get the right thing, first time." The vendors will help you achieve this.

And, NEVER, cut springs to fit!

Just my 2 cents' worth.
