Front brakes 'growling'
'88 300E, 50K miles. Pads have plenty of meat on them but recently have started to growl, not squeal after they get warm, when coming to a stop. No ABS pulsing or light, stop fine but the sound is very low frequency and worrying.
ABS works fine and growling sound not there when pads are cold.
