AC problems
I own a 94 E420 with just under 90K miles on the clock. My AC recently became intermittent. Sometimes it works great and then not at all. The Freon quantity is good. I have tried jumping both low and high pressure switches, no help.
Also, the electric fans do not seem to work in concert with the AC. They seem to work only at high coolant temps. Is this normal?
My engine wiring harness is original, could this be the culprit?

if u look under the hood, on the driver side fender there's a lttle dealy-mabob that flips open. inside is a fuse that looks like a flat peice of metal(lead)held down by two screws.......it's more than likely,that it's cracked. probably a hair line crack and sometimes it's touching and other times it's not.
