ASR- Emissions test on a DYNO
I was told at the dealership to just let the emissions test happen and don't worry about the ASR. This seems rather odd considering the way the car behaved and sounded during the test last year. Turning off the ignition reset the ABS/ASR lights but I can't help thinking this is bad for the car or at least wearing the brakes down for no reason. Can the ABS/ASR relay be pulled for the test?? If so where is it on a 94 E320. There is no ASR fuse. Thanks much.

It is said that ASR can be disabled by jumping two ports on the diagnostic control module...but that's only if your car came with a X11/4 diag module, which many didn't.
It looks like this:

Nearly all of us have this one. It's been pondered about in BenzWorld and noone has really been able to figure it out. Unless someone knows here.
