I did a little spring cleaning and couldn't resist doing a quick comparison. I think my car still looks pretty good, even next to the ultimate driving machine.

Ya know, you lose that comparison...but not by the landslide one might expect.

Damn, I love that blue color.

Ready for Ebay

Just kidding. I just went crazy after the wash and wax and am so happy to have nicer weather here in PA. I can't believe I am even saying this, but for the spring I am getting 4 new Bilstein Sport shocks and the OEM Sportline swaybars and bushings. One of my Bilstein HD shocks went bad after about 6 years and I switched to my old shocks in front and I can't stand the bouncing around.

Ya, probably true that I lose, since the newer cars are super sleek and mod looking, but at least there aren't a zillion cars like mine driving around all over the place. I truly enjoy the uniqueness of my car, in addition to the nice color and many other attributes that I know all on this forum appreciate. I also enjoy the pride of ownership that comes from maintaining my car for all of these years. I purchased the car when it was 2.5 years old, so I have had it for 11.5 years.

The last model Tiburon and the Genesis look fantastic. I lament the death of the Tibby, I've always wanted a black Tiburon GT V6.

I bet the guys over at the bmw forum wouldn't like your comment at all. But in all fairness I have to agree with you, you really can get everything you get in the E90 in an 09 Accord, but only for nearly 20 g's less..

btw, the only ultimate driving machine to me is the m5.

You certainly spoke the truth with that. I'm surprised nobody likes the new 3-Series. I think they are nice, even if there are too many of them driving around to feel too special in one.

I actually had a nice reception on the Bimmerfest E90/E91/E92 site with the same post. They appreciate the W124. One guy even commented that the W124 was "carved from a single block of unobtainium". Nice words from the BMW guys.

I think the most fantastic looking BMWs are from the late 80s to the late 90s. After that they are utter shyte. I think only the Z3 was a miss styling wise. Bangle really messed em up.

I'd take an E39 (about 96- 02 5 series) anything. 2nd best car evah, after the 124 of course. Its interior durability lets it down though; they can look like a Bangladeshi taxi on the inside if its not very well maintained.

I call.

You can't get *rear wheel drive* on an Accord.
