Sealant for Timing Belt
Is this the correct sealant for the timing cover on a e320?

I found it by doing a search on MB part number 003-989-98-20-10.
Thanks,
Jim Lee

Just go to the parts store and get some High temp black RTV/silicone gasket. It is perfectly fine not to use the MB brand make sure you get high temp ussually black in color.

Thanks very much. I hate 'special tools' and contributing to the Mercedes Benz genuine parts business.
How is your head rearrangement going?
I am still waiting on my valve seals to get it down to the machine shop.
Thanks
