300SL transmission swap - will it work?

So I know that the 1990-1994 300SL had the m104 engine in it, and had the option of a 5 speed manual. Does anyone with knowledge of this transmission know if it will fit on a w124 m104?

Pretty much any transmission that was behind a 103/ 104 engine will fit behind another 103/ 104 engine. Bolt on.

Clutches and so on are another issue.

The w124 has all the mounting points and stuff for the manual setup right?
