1987 230E Speed Control
Hi there,
I`m currently driving a 1987 W124 230E "loaner".
I sold my car at the beginning of the year and have been driving my motorcycle since then.
The 230 was not being used by its owner so he lent it to me indefinitely until I could find a good 2002 / 2003 model ML320.
There is something wrong with the cruise control.
The is no problems to engage it, or to change the speed.
When you engage it the car pulls fabulously to the set speed.
The problems start when the car reach set speed.
The best way I could describe it is "surging".
I feels like somebody is continuously pumping the accelerator.
It`s not long before you could feel the motion sickness starting.
Anny ideas what the problem is?
How much would it cost to fix?
