Anyone here know anything about Camber adjusters?

My car is lowered a little bit and my tires go out pretty fast and wear out from the inside

I just came across this guy who has a 320 cabrio and his is lowered about 2 inches (more than mine) and also sits on 18" wheels and he said he used K-Mac camber adjusters to fix his camber/tire wear issue

Anyone know anything about this and what is costs?

They are adjustable bushings that cost about $299. I bought a set of camber arms but those didn't work how i wanted them too because they push the wheel forward a little even after correcting the toe.


It takes the same amount of time to answer the question than to post a link to the search page.

yes, but it is better to teach a man to fish, rather than have 50 million threads on the same thing that all contain the exact same information. if they searched they would have come across reviews from people who have installed them as well as K-Mac's website, etc.
they have 100+ posts each, i'm not sure there is an excuse for not even trying to look for the information rather than just having it spoon-fed to them.
There are relevant comments in old threads by members who no longer use the site, and unless someone searches that information might not surface in a new thread. there is no downside to it.

Do you really think he was going to go away and close the thread after that?... ......It's like ppl that keep asking about 18" wheels. I've repeated 18x8 35-38mm offset like a million times but sometimes people wanna ask again to make sure i guess?

he might have if he didn't get an answer from anyone, right? so next time he would think twice? but he got one, so no lesson learned.

i understand if people want to 'be sure', or start a thread with 'i searched, but couldn't find...'.
but he wanted to know about camber adjustment/k-mac kits, and prices, all of which he would have gotten, along with a lot more other useful info, if he had searched for them first. after that, if he needed some more advice, then no problem, come back to the group with what you know so far and ask for what you need. tht's all i'm saying.
not to single out this user in particular, this is a general observation/pet peeve i have with these types of threads.

There's a KMAC kit for sale on ebay right now. Try shopping around online too - I'm in the same predicament in my car too, tires wearing early =(

But you know what, I completely agree with Zed. When somebody has a technical question, it's good etiquette to search first. It's about respecting other forum members' time. When I have a question, I open a thread with a sense of humility. You're asking somebody to take time out of their day to answer your question. So it's only polite to invest some of your own time looking for answers yourself first before requesting that others spend some of their own time to help you. That's common sense and common manners.

Which is a great segue into requesting that you take down the sig with the saggy sack. It's pretty disgusting. It did give me a good laugh though.

The search feature on this forum has never worked for me, i went through the first 3 pages on this board and did not find what i was looking for so i created a thread, lord forgive me for my transgressions . . .

If the search is not working for you, then perhaps you are not searching correctly....

Most of what you ask has been discussed multiple times...the search requires effort on your part and if done correctly will typically provide more comprehensive info then opening a new thread.

And lose the juvenile sig...

Jorge, what about the RDMTEK rear camber kit. It works by pulling the lower control arm in, bringing the bottom of the tire in, whereas the other "camber arms" push the top of the tire out, closer to the fender. Kmac are rumored to make a squeaking noise by some of the users.

I've got the RDMTEK front and rear camber kits/camber plates on my 500E, I got my alignment nearly perfect (-1degree at all four corners, with H&R springs).

Yeah, i have had a few people tell me that the K-Mac kits are noisy . . .

Omega - How is the ride quality and noise compared to stock with that setup?

RYBCB - When i say that the search feature does not work for me i do not mean that it does not work as in i am mentally deficient, i mean it does not work as in it never loads the search results when i try to submit them, it just hangs, always has for me, cute post though sweetheart

Well the rear rdmtek kit would ride the same as stock because it starts off as a new OE mercedes rear lower control arm and then it is modified. So the bushing is new so it probably rides better.

The front camber plates are awesome they are billet aluminum, but have a semiridig top plate that allows some flex for good ride on the freeway but much less flex than stock so much better cornering and turn-in.
